403(b) vs. Simple IRA Comparison
Tax exempt employers considering a retirement plan for employees are faced with a few choices. The most common option is a 403(b), a retirement savings plan similar to a 401(k), but is specifically meant for employees of nonprofit organizations and public schools. A SIMPLE IRA is also a common option offered by small companies as their retirement savings plan. Both plans offer pretax contributions and withdrawals before age 59 and a half.
