San Francisco, CA—June 10, 2024 – Human Interest announced today that it earned a spot on Fortune Best Place to Work in the Bay Area 2024 and was Certified as a Great Place To Work® for the second year in a row. Since 2020, Human Interest has received multiple workplace awards, including recognition from Forbes, Built In, Glassdoor, SF Business Times, and Inc. – all a testament to its powerful and positive workplace culture.

Great Place to Work® certification is the sole official recognition earned by the real-time feedback of employees regarding their company culture. Fortune uses the results from Great Place to Work’s proprietary Trust Index™ survey to construct its own award lists. On the Great Place to Work® survey, Human Interest scored particularly high on workplace culture focus areas including how much employees care about each other, the amount of responsibility employees are given, and its welcoming environment.

“It’s an honor for Human Interest to be recognized by Fortune and Great Place To Work®,” says Klinton Miyao, Chief People Officer of Human Interest. “Our team works hard to create a positive and performance-driven culture. It’s especially gratifying to know that these awards are based on employee sentiment. That means that our employees, no matter where they are based, recognize and appreciate the fundamentally optimistic experience we have built here at Human Interest.”

Human Interest’s mission-driven employees are interested in making an impact within the company and their communities to solve one of the biggest unsolved problems in America: saving for retirement. As the company has grown, Human Interest has maintained a culture of camaraderie and transparency. As evidence of its inclusive environment, 93% of Human Interest employees surveyed for a Great Place to Work® reported that “When you join the company, you are made to feel welcome,” 90% or more of employees say they are “treated fairly regardless of sexual orientation, race, gender, or age,” and 87% of employees say that “people care about each other here.”

"Great Place To Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience," says Sarah Lewis-Kulin, the Vice President of Global Recognition at Great Place To Work®. “By successfully earning this recognition, it is evident that Human Interest stands out as one of the top companies to work for, providing a great workplace environment for its employees."
