Automatic enrollment

Also known as auto-enrollment, this feature defaults employees to participating in a retirement plan. Unless you choose to opt-out of plan participation, contributions will be automatically deducted from your paycheck—which can make it easier to build a habit of saving or to start saving in the first place. Refer to your Summary Plan Description to find out if your company uses automatic enrollment.
